Management Team

THOMAS F. McDEVITT
Thomas is the founder and Managing Partner of Edgewood Capital Partners. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations and has the responsibility for all investment, financing and disposition decisions.

Tom has over 20 years of real estate and capital markets experience. He has acquired over $1 Billion of properties and commercial mortgages and held senior real estate positions at Salomon Brothers and Citibank. He co-founded Meenan, McDevitt & Co which was sold to Société Générale.

In these positions Tom has acted as an agent on over $5 billion of transactions. In 1998 he sold Meenan, McDevitt & Co to Société Générale. At Soc Gen he started the CMBS group.

Currently Tom serves on the Boards of Bank of America’s Excelsior Buyout Investors, Excelsior Absolute Fund of Funds and Private Global Markets Fund. He is Chairman of the Board of the Lasalle/Excelsior Property Fund, which has over $1 billion in core real estate assets. Also, he has served as a board member of Quadra Realty Trust, a NYSE REIT that was sold to Hypo Real Estate Capital.

Thomas McDevitt received his A.B. from Harvard University and his MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

JONATHAN M. LEVIRNE
Jonathan Levirne is a Managing Director of Edgewood. He is responsible for risk/return analysis and underwridting of all of the Partnership’s acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and development acquisitions.

Jon joined Edgwood team as an Associate in 2002 and has helped and underwrite over $100 million of commercial real estate. Over his career, Jonathan Levirne has reviewed and analyzed several hundred million dollars of real estate product in the Northeast. He has extensive experience in property level financial analysis (budgets, balance sheets, P&Ls, lease files, etc.) and developed an extensive personal network of brokers in lenders in the Northeast region.

Jon recieved his B.A. from Wesleyan University and is currently pursuing a masters in Real Estate at NYU.

MICHAEL HOUSE
Michael House joined the Edgewood Team as Managing Director in 2008. He is responsible for managing the pricing, underwriting, due diligence and closing processes for all loan acquisitions and new loan originations.

Mike managed the Capital Markets Team at GE Asset Management (now Genworth Financial) where he oversaw over 2 Billion of first mortgages, B-Notes and mezzanine loans. From 1988 to 1992 he worked at Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC) managing loan workouts, restructure, foreclosure, bankruptcy proceedings, property management and development. Previously Mike held senior positions at Arbor Realty Trust, Mercedes Capital, Standard & Poor’s and Bank of New York.

He received a BS in Economics from the State University of New York and is currently pursuing Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

TAMMY A. PENDERGAST
Tammy Pendergast is the Senior Underwriter at Edgewood. She is responsible for due diligence, asset management, and financial analysis.

Tammy formerly worked for CW Capital as the Senior Underwriter. She was in charge of Conduit and Fannie Mae DUS underwriting. Prior to that, she was a Principal and Vice President of New England Realty Resources.

Tammy holds a BS from Fairfield University and an MBA from Bentley College.

IRENE KORIN
Irene Korin is a Senior Asset Manager . She is responsible for managing properties owned by Edgewood.

Irene was a Vice President and Senior Asset Manager in Citibank’s Real Estate Investment Management Group. Subsequently, Irene joined Chase Manhattan Bank of Connecticut, d/b/a/ Consolidated Asset Recovery Corporation, where as Vice President and Senior Asset Manager, she was responsible for the management, leasing, and disposition of commercial assets owned by the FDIC as Receiver of the former Citytrust and Mechanics and Farmers Banks, with a pool value in excess of $150 million.

Irene also held the position of Assistant Director of Economic Development for the City of Stamford, CT. She also served as an ombudsman for businesses before City committees, land use boards, and other municipal departments.

A graduate of Lehman College, Irene is a Certified Property Manager, (CPM), having received her designation in 1987, and holds a Real Estate Salesperson License in the State of Connecticut.

BRIAN GOLDBERGER
Brian Goldberger is an Associate of Edgewood Capital. He is responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting, and website management.

Brian joined the Edgewood team in 2007. He is involved in multiple facets of the business operation including underwriting, marketing, and financial analysis. He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
