Regulatory FAQ

Why is investing with EdgewoodCapital.com limited to accredited investors?

EdgewoodCapital.com is subject to the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission and applicable state securities commissions. Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, requires EdgewoodCapital.com to accept accredited investors only.

I am an accredited investor on another site; can I use that accreditation here?

Edgewood requires all prospective investors to self-verify their accreditations status. If you have been previously verified by a third party verification service, your accredidation may be valid for investing on EdgewoodCapital.com, however you will still be required to self-verify upon creation of an account.

I just signed up, why can’t I access investments right away?

The Securities and Exchange Commission requires a pre-established relationship to be quantified prior to allowing new users access to current investment opportunities. Should you not already have a pre-existing relationship with Edgewood Capital Advisors or EdgewoodCapital.com, you will be subject to a 30 day cooling off period before you may access currently funding investments.
