Chris Whittleton is a Director at Edgewood Capital where his responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting and closing bridge loans, commercial loan acquisitions and other opportunistic commercial real estate investments nationwide. In his 25 year career in commercial real estate, Mr. Whittleton has been a principal, agent or lender on over $6 billion in commercial real estate transactions including $5 billion in sales, equity and debt placements and $1 billion in principal investments, loan acquisitions and structured financings. Mr. Whittleton has previously held senior positions with such institutions as Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick-Goldman, Sovereign Partners, The Athena Group, E&Y Kenneth Leventhal and the Resolution Trust Corporation. Mr. Whittleton started his career as a leasing and development executive for The Holladay Corporation, a Washington, DC based office and multifamily developer. Mr. Whittleton is a cum laude graduate of James Madison University where he received a BBA in Management.
